eet--preparations to open the blockade. We have had the pleasure of an interview with Mr. Fry. of Alabama, who arrived in our city a day or two ago, after a visit of some months to England. Mr. Fry came in the same ship with Mr. Bisble, of Norfolk, to one of the West India Islands, where Mr. Bisbie is still detained. Their voyage was an unusually long one, having left England on theof their vessel in the West Indies, a few days ago, the Captain of an English gun-boat informed Mr. Fry that orders had been received for the British fleet in the West India waters, numbering some eie garrison--five hundred men — were kept up all night, awaiting the attack. We also learn from Mr. Fry that, when he left England, a fleet of merchant steamers were in readiness to take immediate ads to take immediate advantage of the breaking of the blockade, and open up a lively trade with the Southern States.
