Running persons through the lines. On Thursday night, detective Reece arrested two men, named John G. Parry and George H. Spencer, scouts for General Fields, on the charge of running persons through the lines. The accused were arrested in this city, near the corner of Thirteenth and Main streets, and had on their persons at the time a full mail, intended for the Yankee General Courts, now stationed near Fort Harrison. They are the same parties who aided George Emory Baker in his escape from this city to the Yankees a few weeks since, and after delivering him safely into the enemy's lines brought back from him a letter written to his wife, whom he left behind.
