Total amount, $833.23. Falmouth Incorporated June 4, 1686. Population in 1860, 2,456; in 1865, 2,294. Valuation in 1860, $1,323,308; in 1865, $1,375,661. The selectmen in 1861, 1862, and 1863, were Thomas Lewis, Jr., Prince G. Moore, Silas J. Eldred; in 1864 and 1865, Thomas Lewis, Jr., Prince G. Moore, Zenas Hamblin. The town-clerk and town-treasurer during all the years of the war was Thomas Lewis, Jr. 1861.
