Public hiring of Negroes.
--Will be hired at. "Wakefield," the farm next adjoining Mr. George W. Doswell's, in Hanover county, on Friday, December 30th, 1864, about forty Negroes, consisting of men and women, boys and girls.
They will be hired as farm hands and house servants — in no instance to labor on works of internal improvement or in occupations considered hazardous, and with the further express understanding that they are not to be rehired by those who hire them publicly without the written consent of the undersigned.
