Dr. Cumming, Twenty-eighth street, and Prince Napoleon has visited Camp Scott and the American Zouaves on Staten Island. New York, thus taken by storm, has called on Mr. Peter Cooper and the corporation; but the response, so far, has not been encouraging. A few months warlike preparation and loss of trade have worked wonders in New York, and foreign sensations are out of season. The money appropriated by the corporation to support the families of absent soldiers has been chiefly used in the
