Correction.
We were in error yesterday in our statement that Capt Robert E. Cowan, who died at Staunton, on Sunday last, from wounds received at Kernstown, was Robert E Cowan, Esq., former delegate from Preston.
A gentleman from the Northwest informs us that Capt. Cowan was from Russell county, and that his father at one tit E. Cowan, who died at Staunton, on Sunday last, from wounds received at Kernstown, was Robert E Cowan, Esq., former delegate from Preston.
