It will be recollected that, on the occasion of the recent raid on Stony creek, the Yankees were attacked and driven eight miles by our cavalry. Traylor — proved his innocence, but recognized as a witness against another party, who was sent on to the Hustings Court. Lewis Lawson, charged with assaulting and beating Sarah Schwartz — charge withdrawn by the payment of costs. Daniel Stewart, charged with unlawfully breaking the lock and entering the house of Mary Roach in the daytime — accusation unsustained and Stewart discharged. L. H. Luck, obstructing the sidewalk in Main street in conducting an auction sale — fined ten dollars.
