A small horse soon Curried. --The business of the Mayor for several days past has been so very small that the services of a Solomon to master the difficulty presented could well be dispensed with. The questions requiring elucidation were insignificant in character and minute in quantity. Yesterday's docket records the fact that Jim Jackson, alias Butler, being arrested and brought before His Honor for roaming at large, was ordered a whipping and sent to jail for want of "his papers." The above was the only case.
