The army of Tennessee. --It seems to have been a sort of conceded thing that the Army of Tennessee has never been properly clothed or shod. This mistake is corrected by the following official statement of the different articles of clothing issued to the Army of Tennessee from the 1st of October to the 7th of February: "Blankets, 35,602; pants, 79,900; jackets, 50,687; shoes (pairs), 73,441; socks (pairs), 102,769; shirts, 25,134; drawers, 61,327." This is exclusive of the independent issue of over five thousand suits of clothing to the men of Wheeler's cavalry corps by Major Bridewell.
