Judge Lyons's Court. --On Saturday, the argument for a new trial in the case of Thomas H. S. Boyd, convicted of an attempt at forgery and sentenced to twelve months imprisonment, was heard and decided adversely to by the Judge. A writ of habeas corpus was awarded Theophilus Thompson, made returnable on Monday. The habeas corpus case of Ferdinand Hettrick, claiming exemption from militia service by reason of being an undomiciled foreigner, was heard, and the Judge gave his decision in favor of the petitioner, and he was thereupon discharged.
