Petty Theft. --Lewis, slave of S. T. Bayly, was ordered thirty lashes by the Mayor, Saturday, for stealing a valise, worth $3, from M. Myers.
Drowned. --Two volunteers recently drowned have been buried by order of the Coroner. One found in the dock Monday belonged to Capt. S. T. Bayly's company. One found in the same place yesterday morning (foot of 17th street) was not recognized.
