In a letter from General Avezzana to a friend in New York, dated Maildaloni, Oct. 16, we find mention of four other Americans as being attached to his (Gen. Avezzana's) staff — namely, Chas. Carroll Hicks, of Columbus, Ohio; Frank Maney, of Nashville, Tenn.; Henry N. Spencer, Jr., of Pennsylvania; and Alfred Van Benthuysen, of New Orleans, La.
