A message was received from the House, asking the concurrence of the Senate in a joint resolution for the adjournment of Congress on the first Monday in April. House of Representatives. Friday, March 28, 1862. House met at twelve o'clock, and was opened with prayer by Rev. Mr. Kepler.. Journal of yesterday read. Mr. Royston, of Ark, offered a resolution that the House adjourn on Monday, the 7th day of April. The resolution was adopted. A motion was made to reconsider the vote by which the resolution was adopted.
