D., by the action of the commanding General, the Rev. C. L. Woodworth, chaplain of tull and void, and subject the parties to fine and imprisonment. Chas M Whelden, Lieut Col and Provost Marshal, District Virginia. The Notices not to be pulled down. Headq'rs Provost Marshal's Office,District of Virginia,Norfolk Va, March 9, 1864. Any person, citizen or soldier, seeing any particle disfiguring, or in anywise molesting any of the Government orders, which may be posted within this district, will arrest the offender forthwith and report him to these Headquarters.
