Virginia Legislature. [extra session.] Senate. Saturday, March 4, 1865. At 11 o'clock the Senate was called to order. House bill concerning license taxes, and refunding taxes paid prior to the 3d day of March, 1864, was taken up and discussed for some time, and passed — ayes, 26; noes, 7. The following bills were read the third time and passed: House bill entitled "an act to incorporate the Virginia Hospital Relief Association. " House bill to amend the second section of an act entitled "an act to authorize the Governor to call out certain military forces for the defences of the State," passed March 7th, 1862. House joint resolution providing for extending the session of the General Assembly not exceeding eight days from the 8th instant.
