The Clerk presented a joint resolution from the House, announcing its concurrence in the resolution from the Senate agreesing to a joint committee to consider the manner and propriety of filling vacancies by the two bodies. A bill for re-establishing inspection of tobacco at the warehouse in Farmville. Rules suspended, read three times, and passed — yeas 28, nava 0.
