Death of Judge E. A. Palmer. --The Houston (Texas) papers announce the death of Judge Edward A. Palmer, formerly of Virginia. Judge Palmer was a native of Appomattox county, in the Common wealth of Virginia; the son of worthy parents, nurtured with care, and, blessed with the means necessary for a good education, he entered Hampden Sidney College, and graduated there about the year 1845. He studied the law as his chosen profession, and partly on account of his health removed to Texas in 1846. He commenced the practice of his profession in Houston in 1847.
