(afterward Dr.) Abijah Richardson Baker, born in Franklin, Mass., Aug. 30, 1805; graduated from Amherst College, 1830, from Andover Theological Seminary, 1835; taught in Phillips Academy at Andover, 1836-37; and was ordained in Medford, April 25, 1838. After a laborious and successful pastorate of over ten years he wa in Wellesley, Mass., March 1, 1874. James T. McCollom. Rev. James Tomb McCollom was born in Salem, N. Y., Sept. 20, 1814; graduated from Dartmouth College, 1835; was tutor in that college, 1837-38; graduated from Andover Theological Seminary, 1840; was pastor at Pittston, Me., 1841-44; at Great Falls, N. H., 1844-54; at Bro secure the desired object. Elias Nason. Rev. Elias Nason, the third pastor, was born in Wrentham, Mass., April 21, 1811; graduated from Brown University in 1835; lectured in the South upon Southern flora, 1836; published the Georgia Courier, 1837; taught an academy in Waynesborough, Ga.; taught school in Newburyport, Mass.

ers of the American Revolution was formed in the city of Medford, which took the name of Sarah Bradlee Fulton. From its organization, the Chapter hoped to erect a tablet to her memory. On May twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred, this desire was granted and the dedication took place. With the hum of electric cars on one side and the puffing of locomotives on the other, how different the company gathered on that spring afternoon from the one that stood before that tomb in the village quiet of 1835! Two persons were present on both occasions, Mrs. Susan (Smith) Wait and her son Francis A. Wait, the former the widow of Nathan W. Wait, grandson of Mrs. Fulton. The State Regent of Massachusetts, and the regents of twenty chapters, Daughters of the American Revolution, came to honor the patriot woman. Descendants of Mrs. Fulton, representing the fourth, fifth, and sixth generations, were present. Only one of the third generation was living, Mr. John A. Fulton, of Cambridge, whom infi
