The Grays. --The Richmond Grays (Co. A, of the 1st Rea't,) have received an invitation from the Law Grays, Capt. Bowers, of Baltimore, to participate in a hall to be given by the latter on the 7th of January. The Richmond Grays are compelled to decline the invitation on account of the shortness of the time to prepare for the trip, though they regret exceedingly that they cannot meet their brethren in arms of the Monumental City, to celebrate the eve of the anniversary of the battle of New Orleans. It is moreover, as they conceive, the imperative duty of all our military companies to remain at their posts in these critical times. We learn that the Grays are drilling a la Zouave nearly every night, and are rapidly becoming accomplished in that difficult practice.
