Returned to Clark's Mountain, and remained there until we advanced towards the Wilderness and engaged the enemy at Mine Run December 2, 1863.

Lieutenant-General Longstreet was wounded, and General Jenkins, of South Carolina, was killed, both in front of our line by our troops.
