Dana Van Aken

I am a PhD student in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University advised by Professor Andy Pavlo. My broad research interest is in database management systems. My current research focuses on developing automatic techniques for tuning database management systems using machine learning. I am a member of the Database Group and the Parallel Data Laboratory.
