If you had a chance to get a free skatedeck, would you prefer the current style decks or the old school decks with the single kicktail.

(Don't mind the graphics)

Well, if you plan to ride it you would obviously want a new style. If you just want to hang it on your wall probably the old style.

Um, have you ever heard of skateboarding? Yeah, surprise, old school decks weren't always called old school decks, back in the 80's they were just called decks. Ever heard of a Caballerial? Yeah, Steve busted those on an asymmetric deck. Oh, and Mike McGill invented the McTwist on an asymmetric deck. Oh, and Tony Hawk invented like 100 tricks using one of those.

I would get a old style board cause I need one for a filming board and I can get tons of regular style decks anyways.

i'd give anything to get my old tony hawk deck back. it broke during my move from san diego to las vegas.
i could do tricks on that board. it was very heavy, but i used it for transportation. for when it wasn't worth driving to a close place.

old school>new school. well maybe not the decks, but....

Get the Willy Santos Birdhouse deck. Birdhouse decks used to be awesome back in the day. I know my way around decks, and you should definitely give that board a try.

I like old school better than current. Probably because I don't usually attempt tricks on a skateboard, I just like carvin' and shreddin'.

I'd go with the current style for both usability and display.
