When you add a video to your profile or a community, you aren’t creating a copy of it, but posting a link to the original video.
If users open such videos, they see the original video with its own comments and likes. This is the reason why you can’t edit videos that were added from the search after the Video section was updated 28 December 2014.
All of the videos you added earlier are copies, and their titles and descriptions still can be edited by clicking the pencil icon at the top right of the video screen.
