How do I attach a poll to a story?
You can use interactive stickers to attach polls to stories. Stories with polls can only be created on the mobile app, but you can vote from all platforms.
To attach a poll, use the Poll sticker. You can only add one poll sticker per story. To edit a poll, tap the sticker.
There are two ways to view the poll results:
You can only view a poll’s results if you also voted.
If the poll is anonymous, the list of people who viewed the story will only be available after 10 views, so that it won’t be possible to guess who voted in your poll.
Polls only last 24 hours, just like the story they’re attached to. As soon as the poll ends, the person who published it will get a notification in their bell. Tapping the notification will open the story.
Poll results can only be shared on the mobile app. To do this, open any vote notification, go to the poll, tap the three dots icon and share the results.
Active polls from posts can be attached to stories. To do this, tap the more options icon (three dots) in the poll → Share → Attach to story. You can share any poll which you have access to, but you can’t edit its sticker. Viewers who don’t have access to the poll won’t be able to vote.
