Gareth Southgate has said that the Euro it is impossible for him to make a "logical decision at the moment" on whether or not he will stay on as England manager - even if he wins the European Championship.

In an interview with Sky News, Southgate discussed the pressure of the forthcoming game, and knowledge that he had felt hurt by criticism earlier in the tournament.

But despite widespread criticism, the England team have made the final for the second time in Southgate's his eight-year tenure as manage.

Before the Euros started, Southgate indicated before the tournament he might leave the job if he didn't not lead the team to Euros glory. But in his most recent interview, he wouldn't be drawn.

In an interview with Sky News When asked whether he would leave the job or not depending on the results, he said: "Emotionally it would be impossible to make a logical decision on that because my sole focus for two years has been winning this tournament. The last five or six weeks have been an absolute rollercoaster so I don't actually know where I am with anything other than very focussed on preparing the team for this game and determined to keep leading them in the way we have over the last month."

He was then asked whether his family are proud of him, to which he responded "Yes, but that doesn't depend on me winning a football match."
