Companies get sold, the new owners monetize the brand name, and you get cheap rubbish with a high-end brand name and look. You need to review any product of value before you spend your money. The best place to go is look at reviews from people like yourself on Trustpilot. You can't trust brands anymore, but you can trust yourself and fellow reviewers.

They're not here to promote themselves but to help protect the consumers, by letting us know the truth about the businesses we come in contact with & won't knowingly give out any false information.

The website is both good and bad.

reason 1: it's bad because there are a lot of boted reviews and/or trollers who say bad things.

reason 2: it's good because people can also leave genuinely helpful reviews that allow you to determine if a product is of good quality or not.

I enjoy doing reviews through Trustpilot because they allow you to edit it once submitted and I find that so reassuring as I often hit the wrong key when typing due to clumsy finger...
I know that Trustpilot are a responsible high quality site for reviews and that gives me confidence to trust them with what I type...I always use them for reviews...

I’m new to Trustpilot but I have heard of the Company. It’s pretty cool that my purchase from October 2023 was on here waiting for me to review. I have just started writing/reviewing my purchases, mostly on Amazon. And that’s because a particular seller reached out to me just to see if I was Satisfied with my purchase. That really spoke volumes to me as customer service goes, so I started writing reviews for my purchases because when I order something for the first time, I read the reviews of course. Trustpilot has made it very easy to Rate and Write My Review for my Purchase. I Love this app, it will Help me a lot 💯🥰

I use trustpilot to check on the quality of products and services. However, I have one reservation, and this applies to all dedicated review sites, and that is that people are more likely to write a review if they are unhappy about a product. This immediately skews the results to the negative for a particular service or product. If a product or service has practically all five stars and very few one stars then the chances are these are fake reviews. This is very true for Amazon reviews.
For this reason I put more weight on the three star reviews than any of the others.
I personally can often read when someone is a pure moaner.

I love Trustpilot because it lets you have insight into sites and companies Before you actually jump in. You can learn from other peoples mistakes and not have to make them yourself. Thanks, Trustpilot*****UPDATE****** I had a review taken down and after reading the rules of what’s unacceptable and acceptable. I did not cross any lines. I don’t understand why my review was taken down. Change my mind about trust pilot a bit.

Never ever again!
I wanted to leave a slightly negative rating (3 out of 5) and had to submit proofs several times that could still not be accepted or processed. I have no time and no more patience. Apparently only good reviews are possible. How meaningful is this platform then?!

Weird I have to give the review site itself such a crappy review.
God knows where this one will end up.
Opened a request to have two separate accounts unified.
Practically no response whatsoever and yet here you are, asking “how are we doing?”.
You’ll find the word in the title somewhere.

I will never use trustpilot again! Left a review for a great company i have used yet the review was removed! Iv sent order comfirmations, delivery details and photos of items and everything trustpilot asked for to verify my review yet they still wont except it. Whats the point of this website when you cant leave real reviews yet fake ones are allowed!!

I really like trust pilot. I always look for the trust pilot rating on any new item or sites that I am interested in. They give you a great idea so that you know what you were kind of getting into and if it would be worth your while or not. I am grateful that they exist because they help me a lot and I'm sure they help other people as well
