---***Thanks my friends over at LB for sponsoring this "Back to School" post.---***
Year 13! OMG! I can not believe that I am literally a teenager this year..... Well not exactly! The 2020-2021 school year marks my 13th year of being an Educator. The years have gone by so rapidly that I cannot keep up with all of my students now. As an Educator, one of the keys to success is learning to stay in my lane. As in Lane Bryant.
As Administrators, Counselors, and Educators get ready to return to their campuses, it is important to look the park. Showcasing professionalism is vital when being around children. As an Educator, I model what a career woman and a professional look like to my students. With the assistance of Lane Bryant, my "Back to School" looks are covered. While shopping for work looks, I knew the Geometric Pleated Midi Dress would be ideal. The colors in this dress state that I am a fun teacher while the high neckline keeps it very conservative. If you like more coverage while at work, add the 3/4 Sleeve Crop Cardigan to create a look. Add your favorite sandal or pump to put your stamp on it. To close out the look, a simple cute earring like the Glitter Rock Hoop Earrings will have you inspiring kids in now time.
Now if you are at home teaching virtually, Lane Bryant still has you covered. When working from home, most want pieces that are functional and comfortable. During zoom meetings or lessons the Crossover Floral Romper is one of my go-to items. The Crossover Floral Romper is also a versatile piece as the wide legs give the illusion of a dress.
As you can see, my teacher style is very eclectic. I love color and dresses with prints, as well as comfort. When I think of my style for work, the look is determined by the lesson of the day. If I have an activity planned outside my ideal look would be the Striped Satin Top paired with the Power Pockets Allie Ankle Pant. This outfit is fun, playful, and colorful with the bright colored stripes and to balance the look while providing comfort, a straight leg or skinny leg trouser.
Now that I have talked a little about my teacher style, what is your teacher style? Until next time.
XoXo,
ShaKera
