Pondok Kopi Umbul Sidomukti Semarang: Enjoying Magnificent View From A Coffeeshop

Semarang has lots of coffeshop in town, one of them which we had visited is Tekodeko Koffiehuis. But we wanted an outdoor coffeshop, one place that I could sit enjoying the view with mr.husband, while our Kiddos will be busy with their outdoor exploring activities.

After our swimming session at Umbul Sidomukti, as advised by Mba Deti, our spa therapist at Novotel Semarang, we continued our journey to Pondok Kopi Umbul Sidomukti. We knew that we were going to love the place as we were passing the very steep road up to the hill.

And finally we safely arrived at Pondok Kopi Umbul Sidomukti, Semarang.

Probably it is one of the highest Pondok Kopi in Semarang

Semarang With Kids: Swimming At Umbul Sidomukti

On our weekend getaway to Semarang, we didn't really plan anything as we didn't know where to go in Semarang with kids. Only two places that we really wanted to visit: Lawang Sewu Museum and The Ambarawa Railway Museum.

But we changed our plan when I had my spa at Novotel Semarang, my therapist Mba Deti advised me to go to Umbul Sidomukti when I told her that our Kiddos love swimming so much. "You should go to Umbul Sidomukti, the view is great and they have a great pool", she explained further. The next morning, we really headed to Umbul Sidomukti.

With the help of Waze and also information from our friend Mas Adit who came to the hotel early in the morning, we managed to find the entrance to Umbul Sidomukti. The road was difficult to get here, very narrow and steep. But to my surprise, there was no traffic jam at all, although it was a long weekend. Well, something like this will never happen in Lembang-Bandung.

Jogjakarta's Culinary: Sate Klathak Pak Pong

I visited Jogjakarta a while ago with my friend Lala (@oilala) and Dina (@dinavirgianti). We attended the launching of our book "Ransel Mini Keliling Dunia" at Gramedia Jogjakarta. But other than that, we would like to have a culinary tour around the lovely city.

Arriving at lunch time, we were confused what we should choose for our lunch. I really wanted to try food that I haven't tried before in Jogjakarta. Lucky me Lala knows all those must visit restaurants in Jogjakarta. She then introduced me to Sate (Satay) Klathak Pak Pong.

Itinerary 10 Hari Keliling Eropa (Budapest, Wina, Praha, Salzburg & Munich)

Jalan-jalan keliling Eropa sebetulnya belum ada di my bucketlist, kalaupun saya ke Eropa, saya hanya ingin keliling Belanda. Dan mungkin mampir ke Antwerpen, kota yang sangat cantik di Belgia. Ketika saya diberikan kesempatan keliling Eropa mengikuti tour (tumben kan pake tour) ke negara Hungaria, Republik Ceko, Austria dan Jerman, saya betul-betul tidak mempunyai bayangan mengenai kota yang akan kami kunjungi, kecuali Salzburg.

Mungkin seharusnya saya googling nama-nama tempat yang masuk ke dalam itinerary, tapi entah kenapa waktu itu enggak sempat *sok sibuk banget sih:p Tapi asyik juga disuguhi surprise dari tempat baru, I always fall in love with new destination.

Nah, karena saat ini harga tiket ke Eropa sudah mulai banyak yang promo, saya ingin merangkum itinerary keliling Eropa yang mencakup beberapa kota yaitu Istanbul (transit di airport), Budapest, Vienna, Praha, Salzburg dan Munich. Siapa tau ada pembaca tesyasblog yang sedang butuh referensi itinerary keliling Eropa khususnya bagian tengah.

Itinerary keliling Eropa yang saya share ini berisi informasi tempat-tempat yang kami kunjungi. Saya tidak menuliskan informasi mengenai public transport, karena kami selalu naik bus yang disediakan oleh pihak tour & travel.
