 Well, the boys still love this tradition.  And Jay has a special little buddy LOL, adorable. Funny story: No one ever comes to our house, it's on a spread out road and probably the candy-effort equation just looks to be a bad investment for most kids. Soooo, this year we decided to try something special.  We left an ENORMOUS bag of amazing candy on the doorstep with a sign that said: "Congratulations, you are the only person to come to our house this halloween, you have earned the Candy Jackpot!! Brush your teeth very very well please:)" Well, we went out trick or treating and came home to find the bag still on the porch, the boys were actually relieved, they had their eye on the quality candy in the bag and were keen on splitting the loot. Memories Memories Memories   Hey there! So we took a trip, on a jet plane, without a screaming baby in our laps.  Glorious Big family reunion in Kauai and it was perfect.  The last time we were here was before my mother passed away as a big group.  the weather was amazing, the company was amazing.  We had a great time with all the cousins.   One particularly funny memory: My sister Hannah planned a wonderful adventure on a huge catamaran to go out and dive and swim in the Pacific off the western coast of the island.  The captain was a wonderfully gregarious local who was all smiles but I could tell he was a bit worried about the weather.  The wind was really coming in strong from the NE and he warned us that the water could be a bit choppy on the voyage.  Well, we came prepared.... everyone including little people, had small scope patches behind the ear, the secret weapon against seasickness.  Well, the day started well, early morning out onto the ocean, beautiful views, waterfalls, mo

It's getting darker so that mean mom goes crazy more, Westley goes all buggy eyed and Nolan gets to work "bluesteel" for the camera. Also, we didn't mention that we got to have Nana last month while Chris and Darcy went to NY for the U2 concert.  

Several times a year REI has an epic garage sale where all the returned items brought back to the store up till then are offered to REI members at ridiculous prices. That and the items usually have little to nothing wrong with them thanks to the REI return policy. This year I braved the cold and stood in line for 2hours to snatch this bob stroller. Actually funny story, I had to wrench the thing away from a line cutter who thought that it would be easier to just hop the fence and take whatever despite the threat of my frozen fist. Not one of my better moments but gosh darn it, there has to be some justice in this world. The stroller came home with us for only $60 and the reason it was returned... a "stain" on the fabric. Can't find it yet, the boys seem to like it.  

Fun at the familiar camp joseph in sharon vt, where motab plays at all hours of the night, the view is spectacular and your kids can see you make a huge fire/turn into a pyro..etc....  

New England fall never lets us down. gorgeous colors, apple picking, halloween fun, and we wish it would never end
