Journey to Marfa
The LAFCO/FIX RV took a thousand mile journey to the Marfa Film Festival. On the way there, we shot, edited and then screened a short film called Marfa, My Dear. Check it out here

Leaving on our cross country tour!!!
The LAFCO Bus leaves today on an incredible journey from Venice to Brooklyn.
On our trip we will be exploring the following question:
How do the politically disenfranchised use the arts to give themselves a voice and effect change. More broadly, what is the relationship between art and politics in America today.
I will be focussing more on video work than photography.
We have a wonderful photojournalist documenting the whole trip.
Visit lafcobus.blogspot.com to see his work.
Here is an interview I did with Oliver Stone as we left LA:

Sunday
I'm back in LA for a week, preparing for the 2006 LAFCO Cross Country tour (we will be driving the bus from Venice to Brooklyn.) Today I took these pictures of our great friend Diana:
Lola, justifiably jealous of Paco's sudden celebrity status, insisted on having her picture taken as well:
Later in the evening, I found myself at a small party at Beau Garrett's house. The theme was "watermellon, underwear, and sandwiches."
more photos from this wonderful day can be found on my life blog.
