I am listing this for a friend of mine. Andy. who is not on eBay. His number is 07840 391912 or 01142307749 if you want to speak to him directly. For auction here is a 1969 BSA D14 Bantam. This Bantam is the standard Bantam which someone has up graded to some degree to the sports Bantam by putting the high level pipe on and separate chrome headlamp. There is no paperwork with this bike but it does have a tax disc with it. so it will be fairly straight forward to recover the original number. The bike its self is fairly scruffy and the last tax disc is from 1977 . indicating how long this has been out of use. The engine is loosely assembled and clearly needs rebuilding. As such this bike is ideal to restore. The wheels are scruffy from standing. but I rubbed one area to see how bad they were and it came up pretty well. so I think it just needs a good clean up to make it look better than it is at present. There is a battery on it as the horn and lights work. so the electrics seem fine. This bike needs getting registered and then it could be put back into use. No reserve auction. Viewing is welcome. 01246 411977 for an appointment. Collection is preferred. although I can arrange for delivery within the mainland UK by courier for ??100. Finally. any payment direct to Andy please as this is not my machine.
