Stamping Inkspirations - February 2021 Blog Hop

Hello and Happy Saturday to you! I am super excited to share a project with you today as part of the Stamping Inspirations Blog Hop! We are a group of stampers from all over the world who enjoy sharing our love of Stampin’ Up!® products.

Our theme for the blog hop is: Love is in the Air! I decided to create an anniversary card for this challenge, as I always seem to need them. The Always in My Heart stamp set and coordinating Floral Heart Dies were the perfect combination for this card to celebrate another year of togetherness.

All of the measurements for my project are listed below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this blog post.

Color Combo:

I decided to use a soft color combo along with the beautiful Love you Always Specialty DSP and Foil Sheets. The foil accents add so much beautiful detail and really add an elegant touch to the card.

The Floral Heart Dies have all kinds of little bits and pieces to layer together, which I really like. The little flowers and leaves can be used with or without the heart which makes them even more versatile. I especially love that curvy banner for the sentiment. I also added some soft texture to the background and the die cut heart for a little more detail. I really like how the card came out and I hope you do, too.

Sahara Sand Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2”
Pear Pizzazz Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4”
Blushing Bride Cardstock: 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”, embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder
Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper (Sahara Sand): die cut a 3” x 4-1/2” rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle Dies
Love You Always Foil Sheets (Sahara Sand): die cut the floral heart image
Love You Always Foil Sheets (Blushing Bride): die cut trio detailed floral
Blushing Bride Cardstock: die cut three of the solid floral images to layer with the detailed flowers
Pear Pizzazz Cardstock: die cut two sets of the leaves
So Saffron Cardstock: die cut three sets of the leaves, accent with Wink of Stella
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock: die cut the heart image, emboss using Subtle 3D Embossing Folder
Basic White Cardstock: die cut the banner image and stamp the sentiment
Linen Thread and Champagne Rhinestones
Basic White Cardstock (inside card): 4” x 5-1/4”
Love You Always Foil Sheets (Sahara Sand, inside card): 3/4” x 5-1/4”

Finally a peek inside the card. I used another small strip of the DSP along with a coordinating sentiment and some stamped hearts.

Always in My Heart for Facebook Live

Hello everyone! Yesterday, I did a Facebook Live video sharing a card using the new Always in My Heart Bundle, which is available in the Stampin’ Up!® January-June Mini Catalog.

The Always in My Heart Bundle is perfect for Valentine’s Day cards and so much more! I wanted to focus on using the bundle to share an idea for a beautiful anniversary card.

I just love the Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper in this suite. The foiled details really add so much elegance. I decided to use the Sahara Sand pattern as the starting point for my card. I took a poll on Facebook Live to pick a either Soft Sea Foam OR So Saffron to feature with the Sahara Sand. Soft Sea Foam was the winner of the vote, but after the video was over I couldn’t resist making another card in So Saffron. You can see it below!

Here is a little peek inside the card. I added a little strip of that gorgeous DSP along with the stamped sentiment and trio of little hearts. It’s ready to send to a happy couple to celebrate their special day!

Even though the Soft Sea Foam won the vote on Facebook Live, I went ahead and created a second card using So Saffron…just because. Honestly, I don’t know which card I like better. They are both so pretty in the soft colors paired with that fabulous foiled DSP.
