Voice of Travelers to New Zealand

New Zealand, the best nature has to offer

Booking my ticket to New Zealand was a dream come true, because I’ve always wanted to explore the country . It has so many terrains that you can be in a desert, then a few hours drive away you can be in snowy mountains! I drove myself around rather than buy transportation tickets but I had a look at the tours, and the tickets were very reasonably priced. There are lots of animals and plants that you can only see in New Zealand because it’s so isolated. I was surprised at how cosmopolitan Auckland was – I’d heard there were lots of festivals there but didn’t manage to get a ticket – the shopping opportunities and restaurants there were amazing.

New Zealand delicacies

My holiday to New Zealand was a phenomenal culinary experience, and I began planning my meals almost as soon as I booked my ticket! The Pacific Ocean surrounding New Zealand gives restaurants a huge variety of fresh seafood – I bought a ticket to the beach, and had a gorgeous simple meal of fish and chips on the seafront on a warm evening. Perfection! I finally tried some of the world-famous New Zealand lamb (one of the country’s main exports) and it was better that I could have imagined. I also sampled some of the local wines with my meal – a light New Zealand red was just the ticket!

Why I would recommend New Zealand

New Zealand is an excellent destination for water sports enthusiasts. Rather than buy a ticket for the ferry, you can kayak to explore the islands, and the Bay Island is famous for its scuba diving opportunities. If you do buy a boat ticket, you may even see seals and friendly dolphins. It’s also worth organizing a trip to the Coromandel (the transport ticket can be quite cheap), a stunning area of coastline perfect for relaxing, sunbathing and exploring. There are hot springs close to the sea, and you just have to dig a hole in the sand to find them! The beautiful Cathedral Cove is famously used in many films, and the rain-forest is worth exploring for the native wildlife.

New Zealand Travel FAQs

Q. What are some important tips when visiting New Zealand?

A. New Zealand has strict customs policies, so be sure to accurately complete the declaration forms at the airport; when in doubt, ask the authorities, otherwise you may end up with a hefty fine. Make sure you keep your passport and plane ticket with you when moving around the country. New Zealand has many remote areas, so if you’re driving make sure you always have enough gas. Public transport will help avoid this problem – there are varieties of travel tickets available, but the bus ticket is quite inexpensive. Camping is widely available without a permit or ticket, on any conservation land which is quite easily found in New Zealand. Be aware that the climate can vary and fluctuate, depending on when you’ve booked your ticket, so it’s worth having both warm clothes and sunscreen with you.
