We had a "Bring Your Kids to Work Day" today.
Elisa (5 yr. old girl) shared what she made at making bookmarks session with us at Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) this afternoon. She made three for her brothers as well. Smart kid!
Mental Health Services Division sponsored this activity and I have been putting things together for kids to assemble. I prepared the bookmark base by layering, stamping, cutting out shoe images (27 designs by 12 times with my co-workers' help), and hundreds of sentiment. We laminated them once kids finished their bookmarks, punched the holes and added ribbons. There were many helping hands. It was a fun project. I hope that kids will keep their bookmarks for long time.
Thanks for stopping by!
