Don't hurry.
Don't worry.
You're only here for a short visit.
So don't forget to stop and smell the roses.
This is one of Rose Garden gates at Capitol Park, Sacramento, CA. It is right there just across the road from my office building. However, I have been too busy to stop and smell the roses.
Thanks to Caro Lou, Diana, Tricia and Janet for coming to make cards with me. Almost two third of members were not able to come due to traveling, cruising, wedding, funeral and other reason. Happy thoughts and sad feelings were crossed.
I made this card for Kathy whose mother passed away. She won't be able to come to our OWH Cardmaking Party tomorrow for the first time. She never missed our cardmaking party.

Part of a letter I received from a contact: (posted by CARO)
"..The cards are beautiful, better than most store bought cards and the fact that they are homemade with love makes them even better. My soldiers and I are thrilled to flip through the box to see which ones we are going to take!
If I can put in a request please may I get some for Memorial Day and 4th of July red white and blue. We can always use thank you cards to send those for the care packages we receive.
We appreciate your support of us while we are on mission."
I am always impressed by those who upload their creations for OWH S&S Sketch Challenges on the first day within a couple of hours. So amazing! I need time to think what or how to put things together. Anyhow, I think it's a great start every Sunday morning with a OWH S&S Sketch. It keeps my creative mind occupied until I complete one and post it to share with you.
