MCT December Blog Hop Release

Happy New Year's Eve everyone!! What are your plans tonight? Anything special? Me, well Im hoping to feel better so I can stay up with my kiddos and the hubby! Oh the little things :)..Im so excited about today because we are show cashing all of Emma's new stamps for this month!! YAY!! If you came form Micia's blog, you are in the right place. If not, start here. For my project today, I used the Chocolate Greetings set. Super cute right!! There are so many sentiments on this set! Its ridiculous!!!! For my background, I used the Love Collage set. I embossed it with clear embossing power on kraft card stock. I added a tag from the MCT tag dies..A few embellies and its done! I love how cute and simple it is!

I also got a chance to work on my smash book. This is the wedding theme book and Im planning to load it up with memories of me and the hubby. We will be celebrating out 7 year anniversary in two months and I couldn't be any happier!! I LOVE that man! These sets are perfect for those photos of you and your loved ones. MCT December Sneak Peek Day #2

Hello to all My Creative Time Peeps!! Wow I cant believe it has been weeks since my last post! With the holidays... I just got super busy! Im a little under the weather these past few days and for some reason my mojo has been almost obsolete. When I received Emma's' new release for this month, I was speechless! I had so many ideas but could not get them out of my head! This release is so awesome! I love anything to do with hearts! And guess what?? She came out with some  fantastic heart dies!!!  I can't wait to show you this release during our blog hop..The hop is scheduled for this Monday so be sure to stop by. For today, I was asked to make a project using the Chocolate Greetings stamp set. There are so many different sentiments on this set and they can be used on so many occasions! This set comes with a chocolate die but you can really use this set for other things. I made this quick note card using the card sentiment die. My idea for this card was to use it to put those small iTunes  gift cards inside. Since I didnt have one, I put some note cards inside. This would be cute for a soon to be bride to take notes while on a shopping trip...Or maybe even a bridal party favor..Either way, It was simple to put together! I used several MCT dies for this project.

MCT's 12 days of Christmas~Day 12

Welcome to day 12 of the My Creative Time 12 days of Christmas. WOW! Can you believe we are done!!!! Did you get inspired??? I know I did! I love all the ideas my design team sisters have come up with. If you haven't been following along please start here. 

For my project today, I made this cute little mini album using the 3 by 4 envelope die. I have been taking a photo each day and posting it on Instagram. My plan is to get the photos printed out and slide them in each pocket. Cute right? If you don't know what Instagram is click here. If you are interested in printing out your photos click here. I added some rolled flowers and leaves to my cover. Btw, my cover is made out of a recycled cereal box. I used the accordion blinding method to bind my book. Click here if you are interested. I added a day leading to Christmas Day.  I just love this little book!!!!

Here is a sample of how it would work. I actually used my Fuji Intax camera for this but had to cut it down to size. The Instagram photos are 2 by 3 and should fit.

MCT 12 Days of Christmas~Day 11

Happy Tuesday MCT friends!! I hope you are having a fabulous day. I cant believe we are almost half way through the month! It went so fast! And today we are on day 11 of the 12 days of Christmas.  I hope you have been following along because there has been some fabulous projects from all of the MCT design team. If you want to start at day one click here. Today, I have two projects to share. My first project is a gift card holder using the MCT Embossed Gift card Holder.  The glasses and mustache are from the What's growing stamp Set. I hand cut the little had and added some pillow stuffing to the tip. I also added some "fluff" to the rim of his hat using the MCT "Fly Away with Me Stamp Set". I love how it turned out!

For my second project I made this quick and simple card. I used the It's a Magical Season Stamp for the trees and Sentiment. I just fuzzy cut the trees and added a little bling. You can totally mass produce this card!

MCT 12 Days of Christmas~DAY 9

WOW can you believe its December 9th?? This month is going so fast! I need to hurry up and get those Christmas cards done! How are you doing on your holiday cards? Today is day 9 of the 12 days of Christmas and the MCT design team is really showing off their talents! I love every project so far!!!! Im so excited about all these wonderful projects this month. Im honored and very lucky to be on this design team! 

For my project I created yet another card! I made this card using a wooden tree from Michaels. I colored the tree using my Tim Holtz Distress markers. I then added Stickles to the ornaments. For my sentiment, I used the From Our Family to Yours stamp set. Love how this turned out! Im getting a little better with my stitching. lol..I know its short and sweet but I did not want to overwhelm you. "Simple" is sometimes easier on the eyes. :)

MCT 12 Days of Christmas~DAY #8

Happy Saturday! I hope you guys are having a fabulous weekend so far.  I love this time of year,  don't you? Well, besides the cold weather.. I don't miss the heat here in California!

Have you guys been hopping along? There are so many ways to use Emma's stamps and dies! I just love how versatile they are! For my project today, I altered a wooden cross I found at Michaels. Can you believe this started out as a $1 cross!! Crazy right! My plan was to keep it simple but when I added the paper and Mod Podge, the paper started to rip. So I decided to go for a grungy look. I distressed the edges and added a wire netting (dollar store find). I then went into my Timmy box (Tim Hotlz) and added all things Timmy! I added MCT Rolled flower Dies and finished it off with the sentiment.

It actually only took about an hour to make. I think this would look beautiful in any home!

Welcome to Day 7 of the My Creative Time 12 Days of Christmas! I hope you are having a fabulous week! Im so excited to say that Im almost done with my Christmas shopping! Whoop! I love shopping but this is the one time of the year when it's not fun for me. I love making my family happy but it sure is a lot of work! In the end it's all worth it. Have you checked out all the awesome projects so far?? I knew our team was talented but WOW I am truly blown away! If you haven't followed along, start at Day #1. For my project, I made this quick and easy card. Remember, I am not a card maker, so I consider myself a rookie! Mini albums, layouts and smash pages come easy to me. I told you it was simple..And did you notice the crazy stitching?? I did it on purpose..(yea right lol) I stamped the snowman directly on the paper then added another layer. I popped him up on foam dots.

12 Days of Christmas~Day 3

Welcome to day three of the My Creative Time 12 days of Christmas! Last year, I was able to complete all twelve days but unfortunately, my son got sick and well, we all know how that goes! Emma and some of the Design Team have a project for the next 12 days so make sure you go check it out! I love this time of the year but I have a love and hate relationship with the weather! Love to stay in on cold rainy days but my bones do not like it! I think Im getting old! lol! Anyways, for my project today, I made this desk calendar as a gift for a special person. I really hope she likes it! It took longer then I thought it would but I am very happy with it. For the base I used a box from the dollar store. I covered it with paper and embellished it with MCT stamps and dies. There are three different sizes of of tags so you can see the month, week, and day, For the numbers the tags are cut in half so she can changed the numbers. The day and months are from the MCT lower case die! Love how it came out! This is not my original idea but I cannot find the link to the Youtube channel I found it at. If you find it please let me know! I don't think it's exactly like the one I saw. I did not have any directions so I just had to "wing" it..
