Throwback Thursday Challenge at MCT

Hello to all my Creative time peeps!! Today is another Throwback Thrusday Challege at My Creative Time! For todays project, we were challenged to use any cartridge with a frame. I made a layout and used a frame from the Teresa Collins Baby Boutique. Its a very non traditional baby layout of my son but I still like how it turned out! I think Ive use the Cherish This Moment stamp set on many layouts now!! Love them!!

MCT April Release Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Creative Time April Release Blog Hop! If you came from Micia's blog you are in the right place. Today we are finally revealing Miss Emma's new stamps and boy are you in for a treat! I'm super excited because I have been waiting for this all week! I hope you have enjoyed all the sneaks this week. For my project, I created this layout using My Creative Time Stamps and Dies.  This is one of my favorite pictures of my husband and my daughter. She is such a daddy's girl! Don't they look like clones! LOL.. I used more of the Snow Tex to give my layout dimension. I did not get a chance to make a video on this technique but if you are interested, click here.   I used the Build a Banner Stamp Kit for my title.  I WUV how it turned out. Can you see my customized embellishments  I used the Bloom Where you are Planted stamp set and covered the image with clear apoxy stickers. I also used the Tim Holtz fragments with this stamp set.  And wow look at those flowers! I think Im getting better at rolling them. MCT SNEAK PEEK #3

Good morning to all My Creatve Time friends! I hope you are having a wonderful week so far..I am so happy to share this stamp set today because the font is so gorgeous! Its called Floral Sentiments and.....Emma came out with a flower die!! I am so excited about this die! I have been using in my last few projects in case you missed it. I love this die! It's so easy to use. For my project I made this mixed media canvas you can find at your local craft store. I sprayed it with glimmer mist and added Snow Tex for dimension. (using the Snow Tex was not my original idea)What do you think? I didn't make a video on this one but I can if requested.

I have to tell you.. the printed tissue paper behind the photo is from the kids boat meal at the Bubba Gump restaurant..I save everything! Favorite Stamp of the Month at My Creative Time

Hello everyone and welcome to another My Favorite Stamp of the Month at My Creative Time! This months stamp is the ""My Teacher Rocks Stamp Set"". This is a great set to own because it can be used all year round. I've used this a few times already for a few special teachers. For my project today, I made this simple but classy card. I used Graphic 45's ABC Primer Paper and black Recollections card stock. I embossed my sentiment using Ranger 's Seafoam white embossing powder. I cut the images from the G45 collection and popped them up using Stamp'in Up dimensional's. I finally got a chance to play with my Tim Holtz Distress markers and used them to color the image of the little girl. My little heart was stamped with the Any Day Bingo and Crossword Stamp Set. I finished the card off with some Prima lace.

For my layout, I used DCWV paper and distressed the edges. I layered my photo with chipboard and a small envelope. I added some I Am Roses flowers to tie it all together. For my title, I used Tim Holtz Masks with distress inks. I think it came out pretty neat.

Gift Box for a Special Teacher...

Happy Monday! I hope you are having a fabulous day! I wanted to share this gift box I altered using a wooden box found at my local Michael's store. I covered the box using the Graphic 45's Primer Paper Collection.  For my sentiment, I used MCT My Teacher Rocks Stamp Set. I think this would make a cute end of the year gift for my daughter's teacher.
