When I became a Samsung Members Star in December 2023, I honestly thought it was just a cute title for being a die-hard Samsung fan – I've been obsessed for more than a decade! I love sharing my thoughts, asking for help, solving problems, and getting advice from other Samsung enthusiasts. It's all about the community, the diversity of opinions, and the passion for the brand. So, I guess you could say becoming a Samsung Members Star was just me doing what I love.
Then, a few weeks later, I got a call from @SocietyGirl saying, 'You're free in January, right? Can't tell you much, but if you're in, give me your passport details.' I was completely floored! My mind was immediately racing back to those scam intercepter videos I'd been watching recently
But January 2024 arrived, and there I was, front and centre, sitting behind TM Roh (President & Head of MX Business) with other lucky Samsung Members Stars, then first access, photos with TM Roh, selfies, etc... never experienced such an event whereby anyone let alone someone like me would be getting access all areas.
The hospitality was incredible, the care was top-notch, and the best part? Meeting Samsung's top executives! We got to chat with senior department leads, hear them talk about the development process firsthand, and then get our hands on the latest products. It was an absolute dream come true!
And if that wasn't enough, I was recently asked if I'd like to test some Samsung products. Of course, I said yes, but I never thought it would happen. Well, guess what? This morning, two visitors arrived at my doorstep: a brand-new Samsung American Style Fridge and the latest connected Microwave! I'm still pinching myself!"
I already had the top-of-the-range Microwave, but this is a huge step up with Smartthings and Food connected technology, will share some further thoughts. The fridge is a beast and will take more time to get going, but I will share some sub-optimal-positioned photos soon.
I missed out of Paris, but also off to Gamescom late August - what a rush 😎
