NEW CLINIQUE CRAYOLA CHUBBY STICK REVIEW

CLINIQUE AND CRAYOLA has come up with their first collaboration launch and It is new limited edition Clinique Crayola chubby stick intense moisturizing balm. I am already obsessed with their intense chubby sticks and I am eager to try this new ones. I love using chubby sticks on daily basis also when I am in mood of no makeup look they are perfect to go with. There are 10 shades available I got one in FUZZY WUZZY yes it’s a warm nude shade with golden shimmer. These chubby sticks have cute packaging like crayons having silver cap. They are fragrance free and are loaded with mango and shea butter. I love how hydrating they feel on my lips when applied for whole day. Its intense formula is non drying and have good pigmentation. The texture is smooth and glides like a butter. The formula is almost similar to their intense chubby sticks non sticky and very comfortable to wear on lips. They are opaque and bold enough to show the color on lips. Its almost like a tinted lipbalm but with more pigments. You can also apply a lip liner for giving a complete lipstick look. I like using it without any other lip products as they don’t bleed. These chubby sticks are transferrable. Some of the shades are meant for giving just a wash of color to your lips also great for summers as well as winters.

It has golden shimmer which gives sheen to lips which then finally settles down to satin finish. Staying power is 2-3 hrs. Lighter shades fade away sooner while darker shades leave a tint. But I don’t mind reapplying them as they are easy to use. So the only disappointing thing was that it has shimmer which are very fine though I am not fond of shimmer. And not to worry this shimmer comes off easily with the makeup remover.

Overall Recommended if you have never ever tried this chubby sticks you need too they are pricey but they are also completely worth it only if you like bit of shimmer in your balm. I am so so obsessed with these formula if you like to have a no makeup look this is a perfect pick to match your looks.

If you are thinking that why am I so obsessed with lipsticks then probably the answer is why these companies keep on bringing such amazing new range of lipsticks. Today I will be reviewing recently launched LOREAL PARIS COLOR RICHE ROUGE MATTE MAGIQUE which are complete range of intense matte lipsticks. They come in beautiful metallic hot pink and black tube. I really loved this chic pink and black version of packaging which opens and shuts with a click. They have launched 12 shades and I have 4 among them. MONT BLANC, PEACH PERFECT, SCARLET DEJAVU & VIN EXQUOIS

So this range has PLUMS, BROWNS, NUDES and REDS. I have tried to picked up one from each category.

ROUGE MAGIQUE claims ONE SWIPE INTENSE MATTE color. Its true this lipsticks are intense but you need 2 swipes to give a complete coverage. And for deeper shades I usually like blotting them after 2 applications before going on for 3^rd this way it gives me deep color.

Now talking about the formula they go matte but not complete matte like liquid lipsticks. They are non drying and doesn’t feel heavy on lips. The formula textures is soft, smooth and creamy which glides effortlessly without having to drag or pull. Inspite of being matte it doesn't make my lips feel like dry and parched. They do have some moisturizing properties which makes it easy to apply. Also on initial application it gives a semi matte effect. The formula doesn’t settle into fine lines except for chapped lips.

These are not transfer proof. So you going to see them on your glass, coffee mugs etc. You definitely need touch ups as it fades away from center of your lips. Darker shades do leave a stain. I wont say they are long lasting but it does stay pretty well for 4 hrs. Even after meals you going to find pink stained lips. So this lip color doesn’t wash out completely. It doesn’t contain any fragrance also I would suggest to use a lip pencils for deep and bold shades to give proper defined lips also you can use a lip brush.

Overall Recommended If you love dark, bold shades of lipsticks you definitely need to try them as they are intensely pigmented. You can make a bold statement with these lipsticks at romantic date, work or parties. Also they are not so matte it has moisturizing formula which can keep your lips hydrated. My personal favorite shade has to be in red SCARLET DEJAVU. I also like VIN EXQUOIS but I wish it had more even coverage like scarlet dejavu. These lipsticks are reasonably priced. I think they are the most affordable range of lipsticks in LOREAL.

MONT BLANC A cool nude shade having pink undertones. its a perfect nude for all skin tones.

PEACH PERFECT I don’t know why its named as peach but it’s a cool toned neon pink a shade for fair to medium tones.

SCARLET DEJAVU A perfect bold red having warm as well as cool undertones. I think this RED will be suitable for every skin tones.

VIN EXQUIS A deep purple shade . If you are purple girl you need to try this shade. Its suitable for fair to medium skin tones. To my surprise this shade gave me uneven application as I had to blend it with my fingers.

Have you ever heard of GOSH cosmetics This is a Cosmetic brand which has complete range of makeup products. Its available at very few places and limited stores. So you may find difficult to get them. Well I got them while I was travelling in middle east. They were available at Stores like centerpoint. Previously I have used lipsticks from this brand and they were really good. This time I got 3 lipsticks of similar shades but they are totally different on application. The first shade is Cinnamon from the VELVET TOUCH MATTE lipstick range. Second shade NOUGAT FUDGE from LIQUID MATTE COLLECTION and lastly 003 HOT KISS from KISS ME MATTE lipstick range. I am totally obsessed with this kind of shades its a ongoing trend especially if you travel to middle east you going to love picking up such warm rosey brown shades.

NOUGAT FUDGE

Liquid matte lipsticks have a perfect matte finish they are not so drying like some of the other powder matte lipsticks. Also they don’t crack or settle into fine lines of lips.The formula is smooth and creamy on application. It takes few sec to set them into matte finish. They are Smudge proof and transfer proof lipsticks. On initial application you may feel the formula little sticky which goes away once it sets into matte. The formula is very comfortable on lips and feels extremely light. These liquid matte contains dandelion which not only moisturizes but also increases the microcirculation of lips which can also give a increase volume to your lips. The leaves of dandelion contains vitamin A , C &D Its also contains some soothing properties. When applied on lips it does give me a fuller look and doesn’t accentuate fine lines. It doesn’t have any fragrance. They are suitable for VEGANS. The staying power of this lipstick is 7-8 hrs. It fades away leaving behind a stain. They are so easy to remove with the help of waterproof makeup remover.

Nougat fudge is beautiful shade for everyday wear. It’s a warm dusty pink having peachy tones. Overall recommended.

VELVET TOUCH MATTE LIPSTICK CINNAMON

Coming to VELVET TOUCH MATTE LIPSTICK in Cinnamon shade. It’s a perfect cinnamon brown shade suitable for various skin tones. The formula is soft creamy matte which gives a velvety matte finish. They are non drying and doesn’t accentuate fine lines. It has a choclatey fragrance which disappears on application. They are highly pigmented and just need 1-2 swipes to give a complete opaque application. The formula is buildable but it does cling on to dry areas of lips. Also they are quite comfortable when applied for long hrs. The texture is smooth and gives even and effortless application. The formula stays for 4-5 hrs leaving behind stain. You may need touch ups as the formula does transfer. No feathering or bleeding of lipstick.
Overall liked if you want a everyday matte lipstick with comfortable wear. You can pick these.

CINNAMON

Now we will talk about KISS ME MATTE lips in 003 HOT KISS these are available in 6 shades and comes in a chubby stick packaging. It has very soft and smooth texture. On application it gives a semi matte finish to lips. It’s a twist up stick so no mess of sharpeners. I totally love them for their intense color and opaque application. Highly pigmented formula which doesn’t smudge. It does transfer a bit. No fragrance. They stay for 3-4 hrs including meals. They are priced 75AED. This lipstick are moisturizing and does not flake or settle into fine lines. Hot Kiss is a beautiful soft pink suitable for everyday use. It gives complete coverage in just one swipe.
Gosh cosmetics has a good quality products and they really meet my expectations. I will keep trying some more products from this brand. If you have heard about it and tried before please let me know your experience in comments below.
