MATERIALS

YARNS: 75-90 g Alize Superwash (wool 75%, nylon 25%; 420 m/100 g):
Main Colour (MC) 50-60 g
Contrast Colour (CC) 25-30 g

NEEDLES: US 1 (2.25 mm) and US 2 (2.5 mm)

NOTIONS: 2 markers, cable needle.

GAUGE
32 sts/42 rounds = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch.
34 sts/52 rounds = 4”/10 cm in pattern stitch.

CHARTS:
These charts are worked using slipped stitchs. Unlike Fair Isle, there are no colour changes during the round, no threads floating at the back of the work – or at the inside of the sock. Each round is worked completely in one colour. The colour changes are created by slipping the stitches.
