Notes: Lacuna is knit from the top down, beginning with a cast-on at the neck, and shoulder straps which give structure to the top of the sweater. Stitches are picked up from the shoulder straps, and short rows are used for modified drop shoulder shaping. The back and front are joined and the sweater worked down in one piece to the bottom, where the front and back are split to create a vent and a slightly longer back. Stitches are picked up around the armholes for the sleeves and worked down to the cuff.
