With a Grammy in hand, Wyclef Jean been honored by his peers as a commendable talent in the music industry. Jean worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Bulworth" (1998), "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo" (1999) starring Rob Schneider, "How Stella Got Her Groove Back" with Angela Bassett (1998), "Life" (1999) starring Eddie Murphy, "Small Soldiers" with Denis Leary (1998) and "When We Were Kings" (1996). In the early 2000s, Jean devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Country Bears" with Christopher Walken (2002), "Love Actually" (2003) starring Alan Rickman, the Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore box office smash "50 First Dates" (2004) and "Letter to the President" (2004). Jean was nominated for a Best Original Song - Motion Picture Golden Globe Award for "Hotel Rwanda" in 2004.
