Karl Malone, often known as The Mailman, is a popular figure in the world of basketball. Born on July 24, 1963, in Summerfield, Louisiana, Malone's indomitable spirit and unwavering dedication to his craft would later pave the way for a career that would etch his name into the annals of National Basketball Association (NBA) history. His journey began at Louisiana Tech University, where he quickly proved himself a formidable player, earning him selection in the NBA draft by the Utah Jazz in 1985. At Utah Jazz, Malone formed a legendary partnership with John Stockton, and together they became one of the most potent point guard-power forward duos in the history of the NBA. Over the span of his 18-year tenure with the Jazz, Malone was selected for the NBA All-Star game 14 times and won two Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards.
