He Pretended to Be a Blind Prophet as a Scam for Cash

He Pretended to Be a Blind Prophet as a Scam for Cash
It all starts with Coach McGuirk going in for laser eye surgery. He is temporarily blinded by a sloppy procedure, and convinces Brendon and the other kids that he is a psychic now because of that. From there, it spirals downward. He begins charging money for his visions, all of which are false, and even scams old ladies into believing they're talking to their dead relatives. That's pretty sleazy, even for McGuirk.

He Sent Kids Upstairs During a Tornado

He Sent Kids Upstairs During a Tornado
When a major storm hits, McGuirk is left in charge of the kids. Really, that's a terrible thing to begin with, but it only gets worse when a tornado hits. His solution? Stay where it's safe and send the kids upstairs to die. He also proceeds to explain to the baby the many different ways that a person can die.

He Convinced a Child to Commit Fraud in Order To Buy a Sub Sandwich

He Convinced a Child to Commit Fraud in Order To Buy a Sub Sandwich
One would think that if Coach McGuirk wanted to commit check fraud, he would just do it himself. But no, he sends Melissa, a child, to do his dirty work for him. The fact that he does it only after trying to scam her out of money, and only to get a sub sandwich, just adds insult to injury.

He Posed as a Lawyer So Poorly That Brendon was Fined for Being Hit By a Car

He Posed as a Lawyer So Poorly That Brendon was Fined for Being Hit By a Car
Why Coach McGuirk believes he can do any job besides coaching, or even that job, is something the world may never know. In one case he believes he can represent an injured Brendon in court after the kid had been hit by a car. Somehow, he manages to negotiate Brendon right into being fined and given community service, even though a guy hit him with a car

He Tried to Post a Secret Video of Fenton's Naked Mom Online

He Tried to Post a Secret Video of Fenton's Naked Mom Online

When Brendon accidentally takes video of Fenton's mother naked, he does the only logical thing: give it to McGuirk. As McGuirk is wont to do, he decides to put it online, and even goes about registering a domain name.

He Screamed at a Waitress for Not Having Sex with Him and Demanded Money for It

He Screamed at a Waitress for Not Having Sex with Him and Demanded Money for It
This is just way out of line. After coming to a particular restaurant and leaving very large tips, McGuirk felt entitled to having sex with or dating a particular waitress. When he finds out that she has a boyfriend, he goes nuts. He yells, uses harsh language, makes everyone uncomfortable, and demands back all of the tips he gave her. That's a pretty special kind of rude.

He Pretty Much Ruined Sensitivity Training

He Pretty Much Ruined Sensitivity Training
First of all, what kind of sensitivity training involves improv? Leave it to Lynch to find a program like that. Either way, Coach McGuirk treated the whole thing like a big joke, and even went out of his way to hit on one of the instructors. Poorly.

He Tried to Get a Man Fired via Vandalism

He Tried to Get a Man Fired via Vandalism
McGuirk's assistant coach, Drew, is talented, good with the kids, kind, generous, and understanding. So of course McGuirk hates him. In order to protect his job and send Drew packing, he proceeds to spray paint vulgar things, all using Drew's name.

He Head-Butted a Child at the Rennaisance Faire

He Head-Butted a Child at the Rennaisance Faire
To be fair, he was very very hungover when he did this, but still. He's at a renaissance faire with children, and he just straight up head-butts a kid in the face. To be fair, the kid was being very annoying. Later in the same episode he completely destroys a port-o-potty, much to the distress of other faire-goers.

He Stole Brendon's Identity, More than Once

He Stole Brendon's Identity, More than Once
Brendon is actually pretty nice to McGuirk, so why would he steal his identity? Whenever he has to do something unseemly or shady, he uses Brendon's name, in one case simply to get a job. That's really no way to treat a friend. Especially for such a cruddy job.

He Destroyed The Principal's Car with a Coffee Machine

He Destroyed The Principal's Car with a Coffee Machine

When coach McGuirk finally is fired, it's not for the reasons that you might expect. One morning, after getting electrocuted, he launches the coffee maker out the window. It hits the principal's car, severely damaging it. This is just one more example of his rage getting the best of him, but at least he got some comeuppance for it this time.

He Tried to Cheat His Way Through Traffic School

He Tried to Cheat His Way Through Traffic School
Is cheating the only way McGuirk knows how to get through life? It would seem so, considering that he even tried to cheat in traffic school! He doesn't even try to hide it from Brendon and it doesn't exactly go well. Then again, things rarely do for McGuirk.

He Actively Tried to Fail Anger Management

He Actively Tried to Fail Anger Management
To be honest, anger management is probably something that Coach McGuirk desperately needs. Unfortunately, he's having none of it. When in class he actively tries to be combative, he shows open distain for the teacher, and he makes the whole experience kind of miserable for everyone.

He Made Brendon Fail in School

He Made Brendon Fail in School

It's true that Coach McGuirk is someone that Brendon trusts, but it's insane to think that he'd be a good tutor. He's not even a good soccer coach. Still, he goes to McGuirk for help and McGuirk gives him some of the worst tutoring of all time. It's no wonder Brendon is failing.

He Conned a Child out of $50

He Conned a Child out of $50
It's already a bad idea to take a kid to help you identify a body. McGuirk then makes matters worse by convincing Brendon to hand over the only $50 he has, promising to pay him back with inheritance. When the inheritance turns out to be a sausage (albeit an amazingly tasty one) it leads to Brendon never getting his money back. Heck, he didn't even get a slice of the sausage!

He Blew Up Paula and Brendon's Grill

He Blew Up Paula and Brendon's Grill

In the final episode of the show, McGuirk is shown actually trying to be a good guy... Sort of. He tries to assemble a grill for Paula and Brendon, but, per usual, it doesn't go his way. The grill actually blows up due to his incompetence and shoddy building.

He Takes Advantage of Lynch at Every Opportunity

He Takes Advantage of Lynch at Every Opportunity
McGuirk is always getting Lynch into stupid situations. He even goes as far as to drag him to Cancun because he needs someone down there who's able to speak Spanish. Needless to say, it doesn't go well.

He Canceled a Camping Trip out of Spite

He Canceled a Camping Trip out of Spite
What could have been a nice, fun camping trip goes horribly wrong when someone "messes with" McGuirk's canteen. Out of spite for this act of sabotage, he cancels the trip and takes everyone home, but only after repeatedly threatening to leave them there alone in the woods.
