In the history of the presidency, there hasn’t been a commander in chief that’s as inarguably cool as President Obama. Obama's best appearances usually happen on late night television, or on outlier news services like Vice. But which cool Obama appearances are the coolest?

In 2015, President Obama caused a stir when he was a guest on WTF with Marc Maron, a long running comedy program. It wasn’t weird that Obama was on a comedy show, it was just weird to hear Obama on podcasts in general. That kind of ability to sit down with anyone and talk about anything is why Obama's media appearances are all so stellar. But which of Obama’s media appearances are the best? Are you more of a Between Two Ferns kind of guy, or would you rather watch Obama talk about his fear of bears with a guy named Bear? You can let the world know with your votes below, ranking President Obama's coolest media appearances.

Vote up what you think are the coolest Barack Obama interviews and appearances!

    Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee

    Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee
If you can make it past Jerry Seinfeld talking about his car, this full interview is worth watching just to see the President talk about how weird it is to actually be the President. And he gets a few zingers off on Seinfeld too. The whole thing is worth a watch.

    Between Two Ferns

    Between Two Ferns
In order to reach young voters and encourage them sign up for health insurance, President Obama paid a visit to Zach Galifianakis's often troubling and always hilarious Between Two Ferns. But rather than creating a piece of PSA fluff, the President embraces the chaotic and off-putting spirit of the show and verbally goes toe to toe with the show's host for about six of the funniest and most cringeworthy minutes you'll ever watch.

    Late Show with David Letterman

    Late Show with David Letterman
"How much do you weigh?" might be the funniest thing anyone has ever asked a sitting President. This interview (one of Letterman's last) is filled to the brim with jokes. Something about Letterman seems to put Obama at ease, making many wish these two were on TV with each other every night.

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Final Appearance)

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (Final Appearance)
President Obama's final appearance on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart could have been a glossy look back at the President's two terms in office. Instead, he began the interview with a discussion of the failures of the VA and he handed out plenty of burn sauce to the Tea Party.

    Running Wild with Bear Grylls

    Running Wild with Bear Grylls
There is nothing better than the President saying he's afraid of bears. Throughout the entire episode the President keeps referencing his fear of our furry friends. He does it so much that it makes you wonder if there was an editor with an axe to grind. Aside from the comical aspects of this episode, seeing the President discuss climate change (starting around the 13 minute mark) in front of a melting glacier is heartbreaking.

    WTF with Marc Maron

    WTF with Marc Maron
There are so many excellent discussions in this episode of the long-running podcast that it's hard to summarize even one of them. They touch on topics ranging from poverty to how he feels Congress failed America after the Sandy Hook shooting. His transparency on so many issues with Maron feels like a watershed moment for politics.

    Soul Pancake

    Soul Pancake
Soul Pancake is a production company run by The Office's Rainn Wilson. It focuses on answering life's important questions and creating feel-good content. And there's nothing better (excluding pizza) than watching Kid President get to the meet the actual Adult President. One of the best moments comes around the three minute mark when President Obama asks, "Even though we're Presidents can we still hug?"

    Mythbusters

    Mythbusters
Look, we know President Obama doesn't have a bunch of time to go and blow stuff up with Jamie and Adam, but would it have really put that big of a dent in his schedule to have the President ride a shark through a In-N-Out or something? Even if this appearance is kind of ho-hum, it's nice to hear that the Preezy of the United Steezy watches Mythbusters with his daughters.

    The Colbert Report
Watching President Obama deliver one of Stephen Colbert's funniest bits proves that if the Preezy weren't a politician he would totally kill it on the improv comedy scene.

    Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

    Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
After years working a busy schedule in the White House, Obama probably deserves a chance to slow jam the news with The Roots and Fallon. Also, let's all make a promise to start calling President Obama the "Preezy of the United Steezy?"

    Vice TV

    Vice TV
If there were one media outlet that most people probably never would have believed President Obama would speak to, it would be Vice. If you watch one interview with the President, it should be this one. Not only does he talk about the day to day criticism of being President, but he dives in to speak seriously about curbing greenhouse gasses and government gridlock. Since this interview, the President has done a few more pieces with Vice and they're all fantastic.

    The Oprah Winfrey Show

    The Oprah Winfrey Show
We know that Oprah is kind of a grandma show, but it's interesting to hear the President talk about the whole birther thing, which had to piss him off to no end. Also, hearing Michelle Obama yell, "He was born here!" is majorly adorable.

    The View

    The View
Few things are more entertaining than watching five VERY OPINIONATED women badger the President about what's been the rose and the thorn of his Presidency so far.

The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien

The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien
Technically, Obama wasn't yet the president here, but it's interesting to how little has changed between 2006 and now. He may be a little grey on top these days, but he's still just as easy going.

    Jimmy Kimmel Live!

    Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Even though President Obama denied the US Government's knowledge of aliens (which is a major bummer), it's good to know that Kimmel is asking the important questions when he has the most powerful man in the world on his show.

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno
President Obama was on Leno's Tonight Show a few times, but his zing on Trump and that weird birther thing that happened a few years ago is so good that it deserves to be highlighted.
