Vote up the celebrities that irritated you the most in 2018. No career politicians, but pundits are fair game.

Given it was quite the year for scandal and controversy, it's no surprise there are so many celebs the public is tired of in 2018. While some annoying celebrities have made controversial statements that have grated the public's nerves, not all celebrities you're sick of are inherently bad actors, actresses, producers, or directors. They may simply suffer from severe overexposure to the point you feel they should just take a break and share the spotlight.

Who are the most annoying celebrities of 2018? Despite the fact so many inspirational women are changing the game in Hollywood, there have been plenty of annoying female celebrities in 2018. Controversial stars like Lena Dunham and Gwyneth Paltrow tend to do and say things that rub people the wrong way, and there are plenty of starlets who are simply overexposed. While babies Stormi, True, and Chicago are adorable, many are just over the Kardashian clan. However, there are plenty of male celebrities that tend to irritate audiences. Whether you're put off by Sean Penn's awkward transition from actor to novelist, Kanye West's polarizing political statements, or Matt Damon's fumbling comments about the Me Too movement, chances are there's someone on the list below who annoys you. And that's not even to mention the many political pundits, both male and female, who make a living riling up and enraging audiences just for network ratings.

Vote up the most irritating celebrities of 2018 and feel free to add anyone you think is missing! Then see if any of them have become less annoying celebrities in 2019.

  • Logan Paul

    Age: 29

Logan Paul parlayed his talent for brief bursts of physical comedy into an enormously popular and financially profitable career as a YouTube personality and occasional film and television actor, until an unexpected scandal cut his burgeoning career short. Born Logan Alexander Paul on April 1, 1995 in Westlake, Ohio, he reportedly began making internet videos for a YouTube channel at the age of 10, but focused most of his teenaged energy on scholastic sports, with a particular focus on football and wrestling. Paul put aside these interests after enrolling at Ohio University, where he studied industrial engineering and maintaining a modest presence on YouTube. His standing on the social media site changed dramatically when he entered a short, six-second video created on the internet video sharing service Vine into a contest sponsored by Virgin Mobile. His entry proved to be one of the most shared videos in the contest, and by the end of 2013, his Vine account had over one million followers viewing and sharing his comic efforts, which largely hinged on broad slapstick comedy or Paul placing himself in harm's way, with decidedly nerve-rattling results. By 2014, he had over 3.1 million followers on social media platforms, with 150,000 alone on YouTube, where his first Vine compilation was viewed four million times in a single week. Such a sizable audience made Paul an extremely attractive showcase for companies, and he soon began earning thousands of dollars from advertising revenue. In 2015, he was named the tenth most influential figure on Vine, while his YouTube channels - which split into two outlets, one devoted to his comedy sketches and the other a daily video blog, or "vlog" - were followed by 4.36 million and 15.7 million viewers, respectively, by 2018. Interest from film and television studios was a natural next step for Paul, though his acting roles outside of YouTube Red productions like the science fiction thriller "The Thinning" (2016) were limited to guest appearances on series like "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999- ). Social media remained his most popular showcase, and in this capacity, he enjoyed a successful partnership with Dwayne Johnson on a series of 2017 shorts that detailed, in comic broad strokes, why his guest appearances in all of Johnson's films had been removed from the final release. But a pair of controversial videos posted that same year did much to undermine his shot at mainstream acceptance: a November 23 video titled "No Handlebars," which borrowed a sample of the Flobots single "Handlebars" and featured Paul appearing to ride women like bicycles, was lambasted by the media. A month later, Paul uploaded a video that depicted the corpse of a man who had committed suicide by hanging in Aokigahara, a forest in northwestern Japan where numerous similar deaths had occurred over many years. Seen by over 6 million people within 24 hours, both Paul and the video were widely criticized, and YouTube was petitioned to remove his channel. His channels were eventually removed from Google Preferred and production was halted on his Comcast video series, "Logan Paul vs." More significantly, the video and its ensuing uproar prompted YouTube to review its posting policies. He offered a number of video apologies in the wake of the incident, and posted a lengthy look at suicide prevention to his vlog channel in late January 2018.

With her unmistakable look and outrageous style, Blac Chyna seemed destined for the spotlight. Born Angela Renée White in 1988, Chyna began leveraging her beauty into a profitable venture during her teens when she took a job as a server at Hooters restaurant, famous for its scantily clad waitstaff. By 18, she took her provocative performance skills to the next level, becoming an exotic dancer under the name Cream. She later settled on Blac Chyna, and moved up to a job dancing at Miami's elite King of Diamonds club, a lavish establishment frequented exclusively by the wealthy clientele, where Chyna's highest-grossing night earned her $15,000 in tips. Between her ostentatious wigs and undeniable charisma, she soon became a celebrity in her own right, going so far as to be mentioned in the rapper Drake's song "Miss Me" in 2010. That same year, Chyna was tapped to appear as Nicki Minaj's body double in the video for "Monster," and began embarking on a career as an in-demand glamour model and "video vixen," appearing in the video for her sometime-fiancé Tyga's "Rack City" in 2011, and on the covers of Black Men's magazine, Urban Ink Magazine, and Smooth Girl Magazine in 2012. Chyna would use this newfound fame to launch a career as an entrepreneur, graduating from JLS Professional Make Up Artist School in 2013 and subsequently launching the online boutique 88ifin and the adhesive eyelash line LASH by Blac Chyna, as well as opening the Los Angeles beauty bar The Lashed Bar the following year. By 2016, Chyna's personal life became entwined in her business ventures as well, as her relationship with Robert Kardashian made her an even more visible personality in the media. The two began starring on their own reality series, "Rob & Chyna" (E!, 2016-), in September of that same year, shortly before the birth of their daughter, Dream Renée Kardashian.

Born in Tokyo in 1933 to an affluent and conservative family, Ono's life was marked by constant upheaval due to World War II, but she found solace in her creativity, leading to her enrollment at Gakushuin University, where she studied philosophy before moving to New York City in 1953. In the avant-garde art scene of the Big Apple, Ono truly found her voice. She became associated with the Fluxus movement, an international network of artists, composers, and designers who were noted for blending different artistic media and disciplines, during the 1960s. Her "Cut Piece" performance in 1964, where audience members were invited to cut off pieces of her clothing until she was bare, is still considered a seminal piece of feminist art history. Ono's life took a dramatic turn when she met John Lennon of The Beatles in 1966 at her own art exhibition in London. Their collaboration, both in music and activism, became legendary - with the couple using their celebrity status to advocate for peace during the Vietnam War. After Lennon's assassination in 1980, Ono continued to promote peace and love through her music and art. Her legacy is not only seen in the multitude of awards and honors she has received, but also in the countless artists across various fields who cite her as a major influence. Despite being often misunderstood, Yoko Ono's resilience and dedication to her art and activism remain a testament to her unique and enduring spirit.

Pop and R&B hitmaker Jason Derulo was born in Miami and grew up studying opera, theater and ballet, writing his first song at age eight. One pivotal moment came at age 12 when he was cut from his junior-high basketball team and enlisted Frank Harris, a local law student, as a coach; Harris instead recognized Derulo's musical talent and became his manager. By 2006 a 17-year-old Derulo was signed as a songwriter to the New Orleans-based rap label Cash Money; one of his first recorded songs was "Playing With Fire" on Lil Wayne's Tha Carter III. That year he won the grand prize singing and dancing on TV's "Showtime at the Apollo" (syndicated 1987-2008), which led to his discovery by artist/producer J.R. Rotem. Already hot with hit tracks by Rihanna, Lil Kim, Britney Spears and others, Rotem now began collaborating with Derullo. His debut single "Whatcha Say" was released in May 2009. Equal parts pop and R&B, it sampled Imogen Heap's "Hide & Seek" and featured heavy use of Auto-Tune. Derulo based the lyric on the his brother trying to win back a woman who'd left him. Not only did the song hit Number One on Billboard's pop and R&B charts, his brother got the woman back and married her. Derulo's self-titled debut album initially took off in the U.K. where it produced three hit singles, but entered the U.S. Top Ten after Derulo did a spell of touring, including an opening slot on Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour. While rehearsing for a followup tour in 2012 Derulo broke one of his vertebrae; as a result most dates behind his second album Future History were canceled. The album still produced two Top 20 hits in "Don't Wanna Go Home" and "It Girl," and Derulo made a high-profile return to live work later that year. His third album was released as Tattoos abroad and in reworked form as Talk Dirty in the U.S. Both versions were highlighted by a number of hit collaborations including "Fire" with Pitbull, "Wiggle" with Snoop Dogg and "Vertigo" with Jordin Sparks, who was then Derulo's girlfriend. He would later guest on a Pitbull single, "Drive You Crazy." Success continued with the release of Everything is 4 and its advance single, "Want to Want Me," his sixth Top Ten. The album continued his string of collaborations, this time with Stevie Wonder, Meghan Trainor, Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban. 2017 brought anopther paid of hit singles, "Swalla" and "Tip Toe." Despite the sexual theme of both tunes, he announced in 2018 that the forthcoming album 777 would display a "very emotional side" of him that wasn't heard before.
