Landon's Spring Program

Landon had his very last performance at Challenger. They really went all out this year with choreography and everything. Here is a little "chant" about the Scientific Method.

There were a lot of songs, but I will only post one (you're welcome), because it's one of my favorite songs. Not bad for a bunch of 3rd graders...

Then we headed back to his classroom to look at his Young Authors Book and meet some of his friends.

Easter!

Last night we colored Easter eggs to leave for the Easter Bunny. It's so nice that Olivia can get involved in our activities now that she's a little older.

The kids woke right up and started looking for chocolate eggs and their baskets, so I didn't get a chance to grab my camera before they found everything. I forced them to stay on the couch while I grabbed my camera, so here is our one and only Easter picture. Luckily it's a good one :)

Big Girl Bed!

I was dreading the day I had to take Olivia out of her crib. Even though she is 3 years old, she had never tried climbing out, so I figured, if it ain't broke, don't fix it! However, for the last few nights, she has been having nightmares and in order to get to me as quickly as possible, she would jump out in one swift move, landing on her head or back. So, it was no longer safe for her to be in her crib.

As I was taking down the crib, I kept telling her how she's not a baby anymore, and that big girls sleep in beds and they DON'T GET OUT. EVER. I really wasn't looking forward to seeing her cute little face every five minutes that night.

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised that she slept well, with no nightmares...and so did I.
