Good to know information
IAU | USATF |
The course is an out and back on a relatively flat bike path. It’s beginner-friendly: a great event for your first 50k, 100k, or 24 hour. It’s also perfect if you want to set a PR at an ultra-distance. The organizers are experienced ultra-runners who know how to feed and take care of us. Great vibe. Thanks for organizing the Orange Curtain race. Even though I was injured, I had a lot of fun. It’s a great event, and I look forward to coming back next year.
Kim Elliot 2019 race
This was my second year running Orange Curtain. I ran the 12hr and due to family commitments, had to start early with the 24hr runners. We ran through the night in cold and a little rain. It was so challenging, but so beautiful! Big moonlight and excellent aid station support from a handful of generous volunteers. I love this race!
Martine Sesma 2019 race
Thank you for putting on such wonderful race. I really enjoyed it.
Amber Ward 2019 race
It’s a race well worth doing. Mostly flat, fast course. Not boring despite the loop format. Good place to just run fast and happy! I’ll be back every year now.
Martine Sesma 2018 race
Had an awesome time & nailed a huge PR at 100K distance in 11:48! That’s 2 hours faster than my previous PR at 100K distance. If you’re looking for a flat fast 50K or 100K course to PR on, this is the one!
Timonty Jackson Davis 2018 race
Survived our first ultra marathon!! We had an amazing experience! We met so many wonderful people! The ultra-running community is very supportive and welcoming! Thank you Orange Curtain for a great day!
Joyce Pak McPherson 2017 race
Thanks for running a well organized & positive event today where everyone was encouraging each other. I hope to be back next time!
Kevin Strahle 2017 race
