Team Tuesday with Pinkfresh Studio

(Our team uses affiliate links where possible)

Hey there crafty friends!
It's Ceal, here. Welcome to Team Tuesday, today I am sharing a couple cards using come holiday products from Pinkfresh Studio along with the Original Misti, Sticky Mat and Precision Glue Press.
To make these cards, I started with a white top folding A2 card bases and a a couple of panels. I stamped the image on the panels using the Original Misti because it a cling stamp and you cannot see through it which means the Misti is a necessity to use this stamp.  After I got the images stamped, I placed the panel on a Sticky Mat inside the Misti so I could use the coordinating stencils to color the image.

The first card, I actually created it second. Once I was done with the card below I realized I forgot to use the die and I had already cut the panel down so I created a second card (above). I cut several layers out so i could stack them for dimension. I also embossed the sentiment in gold to match the berries.
The card below I added the stenciled panel on a panel of black and embossed the greeting on black with white embossing powder.

The top one is my favorite, which one do you like best?

Here are the supplies I used

Team Tuesday with Concord & 9th

***Our team uses affiliate links at no cost to you***

Hey crafty friends!
It's Ceal, here. Today I am sharing this masculine birthday card using the Original Misti, the Precision Glue Press and some Concord and 9th products.
I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I placed the panel in the Original Misti and used the Mod Turnabout stamp which were originally designed for the Original Misti. I stamped it in four different colors turning it 4 times. After I got it stamped out I ran it through the diecutting machine using a cover plate to add some texture.
I cut two of the happy birthday to you out of 110lb cardstock and adhered them together with the Precision Glue Press.

Hug in a Mug and an Announcement!

***Our team uses affiliate links at no charge to you!***

Greetings! Angie here, with a cozy coffee card to share.

But first, an important announcement! The Precision Glue Press is currently back in stock, and more will be available in February!

I utilize My Sweet Petunia tools for every project, regardless of how simple or complex it may be! For this project, I used the Black Original MISTI to stamp the coffee cup and the Mini MISTI to stamp the sentiment.  Because the mini is small and light, it takes up very little space on my desk, which is why I always like to use it for sentiments.

I die-cut two tiny hearts from pink card stock, then colored them to match the stamped image.  I placed them on a well-loved Sticky Mat to color them. Since my sticky mat is not new, therefor less sticky, the hearts stuck to the mat well enough to color but came off the mat easily.

I use my Alignment Grids every time I stamp.  They are useful in making sure everything is precisely aligned. My final step in creating a card is to add the sentiment. I arrange the sentiment where I think it looks best, and then I gently place an alignment grid over the top without pressing the sentiment down. In this manner, I can make sentiment adjustments beneath the grid to ensure everything is precisely aligned.

I have attached Lydia's excellent video with tips on maximizing the Precision Glue Press's functionality.

The stamp set used today is Cozy Vibes.  All card elements are listed on my blog and can be found at Impression Obsession.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Team Tuesday with Ceal and Alex Syberia

(Our team uses affiliate links)

Hello crafty friends!
It's Ceal here with you today for Team Tuesday.  I hope everyone that celebrates it had a great Christmas.
Today I am sharing a card made with the Alex Syberia Designs poinsettia stamp. I have had this stamp for a couple months now but never had the time to ink it up until now.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base, a white panel and another white panel for the image. I placed the poinsettia stamp in the Original Misti to make sure I get a good impression and stamped it with black ink.  I colored the image with OLO markers and added some details with a white gel pen, then cut it out with the coordinating die.
I used a cover plate from Pinkfresh Studio for the background.
To finish the card, I added a greeting embossed with gold powder also by Pinkfresh Studio.

I have linked all products below.

Winter Scene With Ceal Pritchett

Hello Everyone!
It's Ceal, here on a wednesday for Team Tuesday. Today I am sharing this card made using my new Teal and Black Mistis, Sticky Mats and products from three different companies and all will be linked below as our team uses affiliate links at no extra cost to you but when used they help create a little revenue for us.

For the details of my card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I placed the panel down on a sticky mat and then added ink, The sticky mat holds the panel in place while you blend. I did this for all six stencils.
After I got it all blended I used a stamp set by Pinkfresh Studio set for the greeting that I received in a retreat I participated in so it may not be available to the public yet but I linked another that is close it. I embossed the greeting in silver powder and then cut it out with the coordinating die.
The deer is from a Gina K Designs set and was stamped multiple times using the Misti to get good coverage since I had ink blended the tree first. Seems like the set I used with the deer has been discontinued  but I linked another that was close to it.

Christmas in July

(when possible Affiliate links are used in the post  at no cost to you)

Hello Friends!
Welcome to another Team Tuesday post!
I have been on a Christmas card kick since so many of the challenges in July are Christmas . This is a good thing for me because it helps me build my stash. I make Christmas cards to give to the local rehab/nursing home so I usually need about 200.
Today's card uses a stamp/stencil combo by Taylored Expressions.
To make this card I started with a white top folding card base, a kraft panel and white cardstock for the scalloped frame. I placed a sticky mat in the Original MISTI and then placed my kraft panel down in the middle and stamped the background. Next still using the sticky mat I placed the stencil over the panel in the proper alignment for the poinsettias. To give the card some interest I added some accents using a white gel pen. To finish it I added the embossed greeting and the white scalloped frame.

Take Nothing For Granted

I've been thinking a lot lately, as I am sure you are as well, about the things I take for granted. Safety, shelter, food, family. So I wanted to make a card of hope, and one with a reminder to take nothing for granted, as things can vanish quickly. The heart colors are a reminder to support and pray for the people of Ukraine.

I had not ever used the rainbow dies before, and wanted to see what different color combinations I would like. I kept knocking them around on my desk, and got out a Sticky Mat to keep the different bands of color in place while I played! It worked great for me to change colors in and out and see what I liked best. I used my Original MISTI to stamp the sentiment on my cloud, making sure it was in the middle!

Products used:
  • Original MISTI and Sticky Mats
  • Rainbow Card Front Die (Concord & 9th)
  • Heart Dies (Paper Smooches)
  • sentiment from Group Hugs (Paper Smooches)
  • Cloud Dies (SNSS)
  • white, pink, magenta, yellow, lime, aqua cardstock (various)
  • Glitter Paper (Concord & 9th)

Repeat Stamping Made Easy

Hello everyone! Judy here with a fun card highlighting repeat stamping!

Nothing makes repeat stamping easier than the MISTI! WAIT. Except the MISTI and the MIS-T RULER!

For my card today, I used a Gel Press background (made with acrylic paint on lightweight cardstock), and then stamped the lightbulb from Visible Image in VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink. Because the paint is a slicker surface, I had plenty of time to heat emboss with Clear Embossing Powder. I then stamped the sentiment four times, lining up with the MIS-T Ruler, and also embossed with Clear EP. It gives it a fun texture with the background and makes the images really pop and "shine bright"!

You can find more of my projects at my blog, Joy in a JAR.
Stay tuned tomorrow for a special hop with The Stamping Village!

Team Tuesday With Taylored Expressions

Hello friends!
It's Ceal, here. Today for Team Tuesday, I am sharing a card made with some Taylored Expressions products. My friend Lori Craig is the illustrator of the set I used Wheatfield  Dreams which is also her instagram handle (all one word of course), you will want to follow her.

I made this card with the Ukraine on my heart, thus the sunflower and the wheat.
I started with a white top folding card base, a panel of kraft cardstock and a white panel for the images.
I placed the white panel in the Original Misti along with a Sticky Mat because the splatter is a background stamp and the Sticky Mat is amazing to hold your paper in place because we all know you can't use a magnet with a background stamp. I inked it up with blue ink and then stamped off to get a subtle splatter and then inked up on a few places instead of the entire stamp and stamped it in full strength.
Next I stamped the wheat and colored it using Graph-It markers. I stamped the sunflower using Prickly Pear ink on a separate piece of cardstock leaving it on the lid of the Misti so I could over stamp it in black after I colored it.  To finish the card I cut out the sunflower with the coordinating die and then added a sentiment.

Layered Stenciling

I love layering stencils. It's so easy to create something lovely in a short time, and without a lot of fuss. One of the things that makes it easy is having my MISTI to line up the corners of each layering stencil to make sure I have them in the right place.

I cut my white cardstock 3.75" x 5" and positioned it in my MISTI using one of the new Sticky Mats to hold it in place. I used my blender brushes and several different oxide inks for the background, changing out each layering stencil, with the mat holding each in place.

The love sentiment comes with the Stencil Bundle. I cut it from black cardstock and adhered it to the front of the stenciled panel. I added some patterned paper for the background, and popped up the stenciled panel for dimension.

Team Tuesday with Ceal

 Hello Friends!
It's Ceal, here for  another edition of Team Tuesday.
Today I am sharing a vintage Valentines card using some Wplus9 products.

To create this card I started with a watercolor paper card base and a panel of watercolor paper. I placed the card base in the Original Misti and stamped script  using Old Gold ink. I also added some splatter stamped with Old Gold as well.
I stamped the floral and butterfly images with Versafine Nocturne ink on the watercolor panel and painted  them using Daniel Smith watercolors. Next I cut them out using the coordinating dies. I inked around the edges of the sentiment with Old Gold as well to tie it in.

Birthday Balloons with the MISTI

Hello everyone!  Today, I am having fun with a balloon set!
I use my MISTIs with every project but there are times when it's absolutely invaluable such as stamping with large solid stamps.  I stamped Sweet Petunia Pink Ink on a piece of cardstock but didn't like the results so I wiped the stamp.  Then on a new piece of water-friendly cardstock, I stamped the balloons in Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers.  I was delighted to find that the stamp held onto some of the Sweet Petunia Pink ink!  Since I used the Mini MISTI, I repeatedly stamped the balloon, adding ink and water until I was satisfied with the look. I switched to the Original MISTI and added the balloon strings then back to the Mini for the sentiment!   I love it when I can rescue my mistakes so that is what I did with the bright pink balloon.   I die-cut two banners from the original balloon and added them to this card.

Team Tuesday with Ceal

\

Hey Y'all!
It's Ceal, here. Today I am sharing a card where the MISTI is a must have.
Today I am sharing a card that uses a technique that I learned a few years ago when I took Kathy Racoosin's class at Junkiefest.

To create this card, I started with a white top folding card base and a white express it panel for the copic coloring.
I placed the stamp in the Original MISTI and stamped the floral image from the Wild Peonies set by Picket Fence Studios in Prickly Pear ink by Gina K Designs. I left the stamp in the MISTI because I will need to stamp again after I finish the coloring.
I colored my entire panel except the flowers with Copic markers in RV14, RV17 and RV19 to get the ombre' effect.
Next using a small piece of terry cloth and some Copic colorless blender I picked up some of the ink all over the panel to get the texture, then placed the panel back in the misti and over stamped the peonies with embossing ink and embossed them with gold powder.
To finish the card I cut the Hello out of gold foil paper and placed it on a vellum backing and adhered to the front of the card.

Scattered Hearts Turnabout With Ceal

Hey Y'all!
Welcome to Team Tuesday!
It's Ceal here to share a couple cards with you today using some new products by Concord & 9th.
I love Turnabout stamps. Did you know that they were created specifically for the Misti? They are so much fun and so easy. They now come with an alignment guide which makes turning even easier.

To create these two cards I used the Original Misti and some inks by Concord & 9th. (all listed below) I placed the turnabout jig in the corner of the Original MIsti, aligned the stamp up with it using the alignment guide and then the fun began.
For both of these cards I only turned three times because I wanted more white space.
I am currently doing a valentines series on my blog so I decided to create a masculine and feminine version of this card for my series.
Until next time, stay crafty!

Botanical Turning With Ceal

Hey Y'all!
It's Ceal here for Team Thursday sharing a couple cards with you using the Botanicals Turnabout by Concord & 9th.
The turnabouts were made specifically for the MISTI and I love using them. I have one of my Original Misiti's set up as my Turnabout Misti. I keep the jig in it at all times so I know where it is.
To create these cards I started with a white panel cut to 4.5 x 5.5 this size fits in the allocated slots on the jig.  I then lined up the stamp on the placement sheet and lined up the x on the placement sheet with the x on the jig. I tucked the jig in the corner of the Misti and then added my panel on with a little removable adhesive.
Next I inked up the stamped the image rotating after each color.

I stamped several  backgrounds for three of them I used four different colors, one uses three different colors and then one uses the 2021 Pantone colors Grey and Yellow.
I only used two of backgrounds for my cards, I will use the rest of them later so be sure to follow me either on my blog, Simply Beautiful or Instagram as Cealp to see how I use them.
