If you’re anything like me, this Monday’s The Force Awakens trailer reveal had you thinking about Star Wars more than usual (which, to be fair, for some of us, is quite a lot on a daily basis). One of the often taken for granted elements of Star Wars fandom is just how lucky we have been on the comics front. Sure, there have been good comics and bad comics, but we’ve had, especially since Dark Horse first got the license in the early 90s, a steady stream of comics set a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.
Late last year, Marvel re-acquired the license to Star Wars, and pared down the publishing line to a few ongoings, and scattered miniseries and one-shots to fill in the gaps between all the films – “Star Wars” takes place between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, “Kanan” continues to give details to the time between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, and the recently wrapped “Shattered Empire” starts to bridge the 30-year gap between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.
So far, the line has been anywhere from very good to excellent, depending on your particular tastes, but we want to know: which of the series have you been enjoying the most? Take our poll, and then sound off in the comments.
